News of TMC and AAP going their own ways renders the I.N.D.I. Alliance hollow

Rahul Gandhi & Congress do not seem to be making much progress with the anti-BJP alliance. It is almost as if Rahul, who has just begun the second phase of his Bharat Jodo yatra may now have to think of a I.N.D.I.A. jodo plan.
The Conch That Rattles
The conch, ceremoniously blown during the phenomenally successful consecration (Pran Pratistha) of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya has begun rattling the opposition. The Congress' attempt to muster a decent opposition alliance seems to be unravelling.
Pillars Crumbling
Two key pillars of the alliance, AAP and TMC seem to be breaking away. As this is being written, there are rumours that JD(U) led by Nitish Kumar may officially align with the BJP itself.
Belling The Cat
The Congress' Queen Mother Sonia and the sycophants in tow may yet hope. But belling the cat is far from easy.
